A new month has started and I have few announcements to make.

1. The Colors Magazine will become 1 year old next week which i consider a GREAT achievement. When I look at the stats (who would not want to check them) I see really many people visiting here daily, some just drop by and leave because they have not found anything for themselves, but there are many who stay here and check post after post and then come back the next day and the day after.

It was the third time that we have Show Your Best blog contest here at The Colors Magazine. The idea of contest is to promote good writing and get more exposure for amazing blogs whose authors participate in the contest. It is amazing how many really talented people write in the blogs, sharing their views, opinions, perspectives with the world. And I am proud that we have created a small community of our own here.

Kavita with the post Happiness is a Choice not Circumtance was the winner of February edition of The Colors Magazine contest series Show Your Best where bloggers present their best posts from the previous month. It is a great chance to show your writing to a wide range of people, share your opinions and perspectives and get new readers. As per contest’s rules today we are going to make a review of Kavita’s blog Wylde.

Another month is over and it means a great number of wonderful creative blog posts have been added to the World Wide Web. Which also means that it is time for another Show Your Best contest. This time we accept for submission blog posts which were written in the period from March 1st till March 31st.

You don’t know what Show Your Best contests are? This is a series of monthly contests for bloggers on The Colors Magazine when we choose the best post of the month. After 12 contests we will pick the best post of the year. And the winners will sure get prizes. Isn’t it great? Each month’s winner receives a REVIEW of his or her blog here on The Colors Magazine.

21 people submitted their entries to the February edition of Show Your Best Blog Contest. 20 entries were in competition (1 entry was not eligible due to not following the contest’s guidelines).

And if I say it was tough to choose, I will not say anything at all. Let’s mention that over half of participants scored 30+ points out of 35. I remind you that the criteria on which I was evaluating the entries are the following:

This is a girl whose writing will inspire you, will keep you thinking and wondering. This is a girl who would surprise you with her writing even when you think that it is not possible. You wonder if it is really so? Check out her blog Humming Today. She started that blog almost 3 years ago, in March 2007. As she said back then “I’m here to explore..inspire..and aspire”

And so she did, for 3 years already.
