You sure do not know anyone who has not seen any romantic movie ever. Even if people claim they have not, they did. Be it alone, with their husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend, willingly or forced. Everyone has seen them, gossiped about them, loved them or hated them.
Today we are going to pick top 10 romantic movies that have been filmed after 1995. The reason why the time period is so restricted, is that there have been way too many great romance movies before that. Think about Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet (that is my all time favorite), Love Story (such a touching story!), Roman Holiday and many many more. You can not pick one and leave another, can you? They are classic. We don’t touch classic. We only enjoy it.

When you were a kid you had this perfect picture in your mind. The picture of how things will be. Of how they should be. When you were a kid you had all the answers. When, how, who? You knew it all. Once you grow up, you still have the picture but the answers are gone. You have more questions. More than you can handle. More than you want to have. You really wish you had the answers but it is really tough with the questions being changed all the time. It is not just when, how and who anymore. It is why, for how long, how much, with whom, where? You lose yourself in the myriads of questions, drowning in the ocean of unanswered hopes and unfulfilled dreams.

You might have noticed that the frequency of articles in The Colors Magazine has reduced these days and it has a few reasons. Other than workload and shifting to a new hosting (some things might still be messy, let me know if you find any) one of the reasons is launching of my mom’s blog over here http://lifemixture.ru. Before you drop by I must warn you that it is in Russian. So if by accident there are any Russian readers you are welcome to drop by and leave a couple of comments.
Before I proceed to today’s post which is actually Tuesday Love Ramblings- one I want to add a few more things.
There is a contest we launched on Sunday - Show Your Best for the best February post.

“Because only with you I learned what happiness is.
And with you I knew this solace and comfort”, he whispered.
Silence was the reply for him.
“Because you were there when I most needed you.
And you stood by me when I failed. And it gave me strength to stand up”, he smiled.
Only gentle wind touched his skin.
“Because you made me laugh every time I fell down.
Your radiant smile was sunshine of my life”, he wept.
Only clouds were the witnesses of his tears.

Valentine’s Day is all about love and spreading happiness. Though yes, it is over-commercial and yes, some people make big money just because this day exists, and again yes, there can’t be one day for showing your love to your loved ones. But then, we still love the day, don’t we? It is another perfect opportunity to show some special people in your life that you care.
But what is love when you don’t love yourself? How do you care for others if you don’t care for yourself? Can you make someone smile if you forgot how to smile?

Passing by the library Annie noticed that the secretaire was open. She hesitated but then entered the room; her husband, Michael, didn’t like her being in there. He used to say it was his workshop, a place where he was the creator and anything that could distract him was not welcome there. Including her.
Throughout the years she had gotten into the habit of not going inside and couldn’t really remember the last time she had stepped over the threshold of the library. She noticed that not much had changed within the years. The same bookshelves, same furniture, even the atmosphere seemed the same. In fact only the laptop on the desk made one realize they hadn’t travelled back in time to the 19th century.

Sometimes… just really sometimes… you wonder what this other person is doing.
If they are thinking about you?
If they worry about you?
You keep wondering what they are doing at this exact moment.
If they are reading a book or sleeping.
If they are watching a movie or are out with friends.
If they are looking at the same sky and searching for the same falling star to make the very same wish as you do.
If they see a couple walking in the park and remember about you and times you were walking together holding hands and laughing just like this couple does.

“Sometimes the feelings you really mean are found in the letters which you write and never send”.
So for this week’s Tuesday Love Ramblings I have a letter for you to read… one of those that might have never been sent but yet speaks louder than any other. This letter is a part of the novel I once started writing and never got back to with hopes that I still have time to write that one. Wish me luck.

Have you ever wondered how most of us dream about the same things? We might be different. We might argue a lot. We might fight and try to prove our point of view. But in the end of the day when we go to bed and are one on one with our thoughts and dreams and desires we want the only one thing - admit it or deny it - we want to be loved. And we want to be happy. And somehow one does not go without another.
