It’s amazing if not ridiculous how one moment you are so completely blissfully happy and then in the next one everything is falling apart. You are out there, all alone wondering what the hell just happened and how come you are in the middle of this.
There is no answer to this, don’t even try it. Just a waste of time. Sometimes things happen.

“You don’t even like him!” Cathy screamed when she was leaving my room. Which is not strictly true. At least the fact that she was leaving my room. She was rather storming out of it. And she slammed the door in my face. Not that I minded, though. I mean, she was right, wasn’t she? I didn’t even like him. Really. I mean it – cross my heart!

First of all, I want to apologize for my long absence. This place seems abandoned and it is my fault. Due to extra circumstances I have to work more than usually which totals around 80 hours per week. This is the reason for no results of the contest so far. And no review of tha last winner’s blog. As well as no new contest. I will do my best to catch up in the nearest future. For now I am posting a poem I have written very long ago. I figured it is time to post it here.It is dedicated to the matter of teen pregnancy and child abuse.

Dissed, dumped, kicked to the curb, scorned, spurned, and jilted. Whatever your preference is to describe the concept, if you’ve ever been burned, then you are already acutely aware of how it feels. But what is rejection at its fundamental core but an opportunity to accept your reality as it really is instead of how you prefer it to be?

What are the ingredients of a successful and happy family? It is about nurturing and maintaining cordial relationships of the people at home. Employ CHARMS to establish and develop a healthy home life.

Communication: Talk about anything and everything. The most important thing is to express ideas openly, precisely and clearly. On the other hand it is necessary to understand messages fully and accurately to avoid misunderstanding.

“I love you!” he said looking into her sparkling eyes and waiting impatiently for a reply from her side. She blushed and whispered “I love you too” maybe a little too fast but who cares since these were words he has been waiting for for so long. He gave her a soft kiss on lips and they went together on the path of a new and happy life… life together”

He woke up from his dream knowing it would never come true as she got married just last month.

“I love you” she repeated again and again. Felt so good to be able to say it out loudly. And to hear the same magical three words back. To know that you are loved….

It is funny how you believe everything is fine and deep inside you understand nothing is.
It is funny how you trust your own decisions and at the same time you doubt them every day.
It is funny how you expect things to go one way because you know this is right.
And it is funny that what is right for you in no way right for someone else.
There are no stereotypes, clichés of how to deal with a certain situations. You don’t have a guidebook for each and everything. It would be much simpler if you had such a book handy.

Every person has a bit of philosopher in him/her and have his/her own a way of philosophy of life to define, look and explore the experiences, feelings, and fundamentals! I have tried to ponder, express the unexpressed thoughts and define my own quote that I follow in my life.

Ever since I have been aware of these things, I accepted and implemented them in my greatest percentage of life that is lived in the daily routine. During the journey of life I discovered the courage to see the things with a complete shift of the prospective, perhaps rediscovering the creativeness in me.

I am an almost 27 year old single woman with no children. I am far more concerned with eradicating the no children part of that sentence than I am with changing the single part. Many of my friends are married. Some are not. I’m at that bizarre stage when it seems like everyone in my life who I was once right in line with are now all off doing different things. No one is on the same page; most of us aren’t even in the same book any longer. And, it is in this transition that I am realizing how much friendship and marriage have in common.

You might have noticed that the frequency of articles in The Colors Magazine has reduced these days and it has a few reasons. Other than workload and shifting to a new hosting (some things might still be messy, let me know if you find any) one of the reasons is launching of my mom’s blog over here http://lifemixture.ru. Before you drop by I must warn you that it is in Russian. So if by accident there are any Russian readers you are welcome to drop by and leave a couple of comments.

Before I proceed to today’s post which is actually Tuesday Love Ramblings- one I want to add a few more things.

Heroes aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. They’re braver than us, more honest, courageous, understanding, etc. While I’m sure most of us have at one time or another wished that John Wayne would swoop in on a white horse and save us, at the end of the day, they’re pretty boring. After they save the day, what’s left to talk about, “Gee, I wish I was as good as you are?”

As a result, our popular leading roles now have become anti-heroes. They have drinking problems, relationship problems, and every sort of psychological problem. Sometimes they still do the right thing, but sometimes they don’t. The most we can ask is that they give it a good try, so that even if they fail, we can learn something.

I wish I could sing
A song of starlight illuminating my path.
I wish I could write
A story of a gentle breeze showing me the way.
I wish I could paint
A picture of melody playing on my mind.
I wish I could live a peaceful and a quiet life.

But I have no voice to create a sound of music.
And I have no gift to express my feelings with words.
And it is a difficult task to paint in bright colors
Even though I tried for so many times.
