He looked at the one day old in his mother’s arm. He was instantly jealous. He wanted her attention, her body warmth, her gentle care, her silky soft hair, her sweet voice, her magic smile, her everything. Lying safe on the other arm he couldn’t understand papa saying “Darling, They are Such Lovely Twins.”

“… this is an insult! Say no to that impertinent girl”!
“Absolutely. What does she think of herself! HIV test before marriage?? How embarrassing”!

His joke set her ablaze. She laughed her heart out, her eyes fixed on his charming face and her soft hands caressing his cheek. Her uncontrollable laughter turned into a cough and it stopped when she saw blood being sprayed on the floor from her mouth. She was given 3 months.

From the black spherical room of his, Zed saw civilizations discovered, the moon conquered, words carried through air, health cures magically made all in a few years. He could see travel through solids, structures of vapour, artificially made human blood all in a few years. And yet science called his black spherical eyes blind.

The room is ready for baby Ashley’s arrival. Brightly decorated and completely adorned. Her cries in the delivery room announced her arrival. Anne eagerly looked for Dale and went ahead of the doctors to break the news of their baby’s arrival. She found him in the hospital chapel crying miserably and uncontrollably with her parents.

Yesterday at 11 PM Moscow Time I stopped accepting submissions for 55 Fiction Contest. The last 2 I received just 2 minutes before 11. During these 10 days I have received 40 entries from 33 authors. And it is way more than I expected. Initially I was worried that the contest might fail because I won’t get enough entries. I put for myself a number 20 as a number of entries which would make me satisfied if received. But as you can see the end number of entries exceeded all my expectations.
