You wonder if it is really so? Check out her blog Humming Today. She started that blog almost 3 years ago, in March 2007. As she said back then “I’m here to explore..inspire..and aspire”
And so she did, for 3 years already.

As you remember Rajlakshmi with the post The Saviour Angel was one of the winners of our Show Your Best contest. The prize was a review of her blog on The Colors Magazine. So, let’s start.
I have happened to come across Rajlakshmi’s blog Destiny’s Child some time ago when she participated in the first contest we ever had here - 55 Fiction Writing Contest. With the story Her Last Breath she took the third place back then and surprisingly it was her first try on 55 Fiction. No doubts, the girl is talented. The more reasons to check out her blog.

You might have noticed that the frequency of articles in The Colors Magazine has reduced these days and it has a few reasons. Other than workload and shifting to a new hosting (some things might still be messy, let me know if you find any) one of the reasons is launching of my mom’s blog over here http://lifemixture.ru. Before you drop by I must warn you that it is in Russian. So if by accident there are any Russian readers you are welcome to drop by and leave a couple of comments.
Before I proceed to today’s post which is actually Tuesday Love Ramblings- one I want to add a few more things.
There is a contest we launched on Sunday - Show Your Best for the best February post.

Like promised today we announce the results of the contest The Colors Magazine has started here. The amount of entries for the contest was way more than I expected. 36 entries! However one of them was not eligible for the contest as the author did not have a post about the contest on his blog which was the condition for the participation. Out of 35 remaining entries it was really tough to choose the best as all of them have shown amazing writing and dedication to the topic and to blogging. To choose a winner I have developed the grading/evaluating system and each entry has received some score.

I don’t know if I disappoint anyone right now but today there won’t be any Monday Music Inspiration here. Today I am going to make some announcements which are related to all the readers in some way or the other.
1. You comment I follow
I have finally removed the “no follow” attribute to the commenters’ outgoing links. So right now The Colors Magazine can proudly be announced a DoFollow website. If you do not know what it means, then may be it is not such a big deal for you but …

The day has come many of you have been waiting for so long. Now you can scroll down to the results and then get back to me to read this long post I have written for you.
Scrolled down? Back now? So I can continue. First of all I want to thank all of you - writers and readers - for participation in this contest. Without you it would not have been the same, I am sure. Like you all know there has been 40 entries and it was very tough to pick up 3 only.

I hope everyone had fun reading all the entries and commenting. Like I said before after few days of commenting I will conduct the poll to finally choose the best short story according to the readers. 6 entries made it to the voting stage. I know initially I said there will be 5 only and that not only comments will count but also stars ratings but when frankly speaking, it does not make much difference if we choose from 5 or 6 entries (only tougher for you). So I took both the short stories which collected the same number commentsinto the poll.

Slumping in the chair next to the bed, he watched his father and considered Camus: “Maman died today. Or yesterday maybe, I don’t know.”
Such emptiness in those words. Such a lack of anything, he thought.
And yet, they were a luxury.
He stood, turned off the respirator, and considered the calendar on the wall.

“I’m done. Meet ya backstage”, Eric quickly whispered. She flitted as though led by hypnotism
He pecked at her cheek
“You missed!”
Flirty conversation …Making out.. .All was quiet but for the suspiring noise.
“This is a ruddy university not your bedrooms!!”
Naturally panicking Eric said “Somebody call the ambulance. I’m on with the Heimlich maneuver”
