But here we are now, ready to announce the winner of our monthly contest Show Your Best at The Colors Magazine. The idea of contest is to promote good writing and get more exposure for amazing blogs whose authors participate in the contest. It is amazing how many really talented people write in the blogs, sharing their views, opinions, perspectives with the world. And I am proud that we have created a small community of our own here.

Kimberly with the post A letter from another place was the winner of March edition of The Colors Magazine contest series Show Your Best where bloggers present their best posts from the previous month. It is a great chance to show your writing to a wide range of people, share your opinions and perspectives and get new readers. As per contest’s rules today we are going to make a review of Kimberly’s blog The Universal Soul.

It was the third time that we have Show Your Best blog contest here at The Colors Magazine. The idea of contest is to promote good writing and get more exposure for amazing blogs whose authors participate in the contest. It is amazing how many really talented people write in the blogs, sharing their views, opinions, perspectives with the world. And I am proud that we have created a small community of our own here.

Many of you know that we have launched a writing contest “Tell Your Love Story.” Some of you have even participated in it. To be more precise, I have received 27 entries for the contest. They all are posted on The Colors Magazine Facebook Group- http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=86909277471&ref=ts in the Discussions Section.

Kavita with the post Happiness is a Choice not Circumtance was the winner of February edition of The Colors Magazine contest series Show Your Best where bloggers present their best posts from the previous month. It is a great chance to show your writing to a wide range of people, share your opinions and perspectives and get new readers. As per contest’s rules today we are going to make a review of Kavita’s blog Wylde.

21 people submitted their entries to the February edition of Show Your Best Blog Contest. 20 entries were in competition (1 entry was not eligible due to not following the contest’s guidelines).

And if I say it was tough to choose, I will not say anything at all. Let’s mention that over half of participants scored 30+ points out of 35. I remind you that the criteria on which I was evaluating the entries are the following:

This is a girl whose writing will inspire you, will keep you thinking and wondering. This is a girl who would surprise you with her writing even when you think that it is not possible. You wonder if it is really so? Check out her blog Humming Today. She started that blog almost 3 years ago, in March 2007. As she said back then “I’m here to explore..inspire..and aspire”

And so she did, for 3 years already.

As you remember Rajlakshmi with the post The Saviour Angel was one of the winners of our Show Your Best contest. The prize was a review of her blog on The Colors Magazine.So, let’s start.

I have happened to come across Rajlakshmi’s blog Destiny’s Child some time ago when she participated in the first contest we ever had here - 55 Fiction Writing Contest. With the story Her Last Breath she took the third place back then and surprisingly it was her first try on 55 Fiction. No doubts, the girl is talented. The more reasons to check out her blog.

Like promised today we announce the results of the contest The Colors Magazine has started here. The amount of entries for the contest was way more than I expected. 36 entries! However one of them was not eligible for the contest as the author did not have a post about the contest on his blog which was the condition for the participation. Out of 35 remaining entries it was really tough to choose the best as all of them have shown amazing writing and dedication to the topic and to blogging. To choose a winner I have developed the grading/evaluating system and each entry has received some score.

I don’t know if I disappoint anyone right now but today there won’t be any Monday Music Inspiration here. Today I am going to make some announcements which are related to all the readers in some way or the other.
