Top Ten Simple Delights of Life

Every person has a bit of philosopher in him/her and have his/her own a way of philosophy of life to define, look and explore the experiences, feelings, and fundamentals! I have tried to ponder, express the unexpressed thoughts and define my own quote that I follow in my life.

Ever since I have been aware of these things, I accepted and implemented them in my greatest percentage of life that is lived in the daily routine. During the journey of life I discovered the courage to see the things with a complete shift of the prospective, perhaps rediscovering the creativeness in me.

The One You Used To Know

I am an almost 27 year old single woman with no children. I am far more concerned with eradicating the no children part of that sentence than I am with changing the single part. Many of my friends are married. Some are not. I’m at that bizarre stage when it seems like everyone in my life who I was once right in line with are now all off doing different things. No one is on the same page; most of us aren’t even in the same book any longer. And, it is in this transition that I am realizing how much friendship and marriage have in common.

Tips and Tricks for Saving Money at the Grocery Store

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m a super coupon junkie and a very frugal shopper. I have a really hard time paying full price for anything and beyond that, I’m in it for the rush! There’s a thrill to stand at the checkout and watch the total $$ go down as the total savings goes up… I’m a huge fan of couponning and making every sale work for me, so much that I actually blog about it at http://couponning101.blogspot.com

It always feels like I’m standing up at an AA meeting when I write my intro… and that’s probably because couponning and saving money is both a necessity and an addiction for me…

51 Things Which Can Make You Smile

Valentine’s Day is all about love and spreading happiness. Though yes, it is over-commercial and yes, some people make big money just because this day exists, and again yes, there can’t be one day for showing your love to your loved ones. But then, we still love the day, don’t we? It is another perfect opportunity to show some special people in your life that you care.

But what is love when you don’t love yourself? How do you care for others if you don’t care for yourself? Can you make someone smile if you forgot how to smile?

10 Big Life Issues and Movies to Help You Deal With Them (from Criminal Movies)

Heroes aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. They’re braver than us, more honest, courageous, understanding, etc. While I’m sure most of us have at one time or another wished that John Wayne would swoop in on a white horse and save us, at the end of the day, they’re pretty boring. After they save the day, what’s left to talk about, “Gee, I wish I was as good as you are?”

As a result, our popular leading roles now have become anti-heroes. They have drinking problems, relationship problems, and every sort of psychological problem. Sometimes they still do the right thing, but sometimes they don’t. The most we can ask is that they give it a good try, so that even if they fail, we can learn something.

Moving Experience

Several years ago, I had a roommate who moved back to her home on the west coast. At the time, I was residing in the Mid-Atlantic. We had packed up her belongings in the weeks leading up to moving day, and, on the morning of the truck’s arrival, used a dolly and man-power to remove it all. A few hours later, when the truck was packed up, we promised to keep in touch, said our goodbyes, and that was that. I then went about tidying up the place to fill in the spaces where furniture had previously been.

The Fear Factor: Top 10 Worries of Parents

It’s written into the job description contract of parents - “Thou shalt worry yourself sick about your children”. The variables and nuances of this simple-looking statement together run into the thousands.

I took a quick straw poll amongst 50 of my friends, asking them to name their five major worries. I was amazed at how certain concerns appeared again and again - whereas some didn’t come up except in one or two lists. Here, then, is the sum total of what they told me:

I do not get men… do you?

I just do not get them. Really, I mean this. Every time I think “that’s it” and think I know why they do this or that, they do something else and I am lost again. Tough life, eh? I just cannot figure them out. Even knowing they are different I do not get them.
Not when they say something and do things to contradict themselves.
Not when they think I am dumb and won’t understand how to do this or that and still end up doing the way I was telling them to.
