If you ask someone what is the most popular language in today’s world Russian won’t make even top 5. I would be surprised if it makes top 10. English, German, Spanish, French, Italian. Those are the languages everyone (well, practically everyone) wants to learn. Russian won’t make the cut because of a number of reasons.

We all have stressful days that drive us to the brink, and sometimes it’s hard to let go once it’s all over. It’s hard to see it when you’re in the thick of things, but the world is full of things that seem divinely crafted to bring us back from the edge if we’ll just let them. Here are seven things that I have done in the past to get reconnected with my inner calm.

Guilt is defined as “feelings of culpability, especially for imagined offenses or from a sense of inadequacy.” Wow, that’s a mouthful! I prefer my own, much simpler definition of feeling like crap when you couldn’t or didn’t do something that you think should have. Sometimes you feel guilt on your own, other times, someone else is at the root of the feelings, either way, it sucks but it is an inevitable part of life. If anyone tells you that they have never in their life felt guilty, I would have to say they are lying, especially if that person is a mother.

Washington D.C. is one of the best places to go and feel American. The monuments; the history, and the politics all have an American feel to them and help anyone feel like they’re apart of the country’s narrative. Sure, known D.C. attractions like the White House tour, Ford’s Theater, and the Washington Monument all stick out as the prime locations when visiting our national capital, but those are just some of the great things to see and do when visiting Washington D.C. However, when it comes to Washington it’s as much about when you go as where you go.

Let me ask you a question: who are you?
“Me?” I hear you say, “Well I’m such and such, I’m this many years old, my likes include a, b, c.” Yes, that’s all well and good. I’m tremendously happy that I now know what you enjoy and how long you’ve been alive and what collection of syllables your parents decided to award you with at birth. But, let me ask you again: who are you?

It is funny how you believe everything is fine and deep inside you understand nothing is.
It is funny how you trust your own decisions and at the same time you doubt them every day.
It is funny how you expect things to go one way because you know this is right.
And it is funny that what is right for you in no way right for someone else.
There are no stereotypes, clichés of how to deal with a certain situations. You don’t have a guidebook for each and everything. It would be much simpler if you had such a book handy.

You sure do not know anyone who has not seen any romantic movie ever. Even if people claim they have not, they did. Be it alone, with their husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend, willingly or forced. Everyone has seen them, gossiped about them, loved them or hated them.
Today we are going to pick top 10 romantic movies that have been filmed after 1995. The reason why the time period is so restricted, is that there have been way too many great romance movies before that. Think about Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet (that is my all time favorite), Love Story (such a touching story!), Roman Holiday and many many more. You can not pick one and leave another, can you? They are classic. We don’t touch classic. We only enjoy it.

Every person has a bit of philosopher in him/her and have his/her own a way of philosophy of life to define, look and explore the experiences, feelings, and fundamentals! I have tried to ponder, express the unexpressed thoughts and define my own quote that I follow in my life.
Ever since I have been aware of these things, I accepted and implemented them in my greatest percentage of life that is lived in the daily routine. During the journey of life I discovered the courage to see the things with a complete shift of the prospective, perhaps rediscovering the creativeness in me.

I am an almost 27 year old single woman with no children. I am far more concerned with eradicating the no children part of that sentence than I am with changing the single part. Many of my friends are married. Some are not. I’m at that bizarre stage when it seems like everyone in my life who I was once right in line with are now all off doing different things. No one is on the same page; most of us aren’t even in the same book any longer. And, it is in this transition that I am realizing how much friendship and marriage have in common.

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m a super coupon junkie and a very frugal shopper. I have a really hard time paying full price for anything and beyond that, I’m in it for the rush! There’s a thrill to stand at the checkout and watch the total $$ go down as the total savings goes up… I’m a huge fan of couponning and making every sale work for me, so much that I actually blog about it at http://couponning101.blogspot.com
It always feels like I’m standing up at an AA meeting when I write my intro… and that’s probably because couponning and saving money is both a necessity and an addiction for me…

Valentine’s Day is all about love and spreading happiness. Though yes, it is over-commercial and yes, some people make big money just because this day exists, and again yes, there can’t be one day for showing your love to your loved ones. But then, we still love the day, don’t we? It is another perfect opportunity to show some special people in your life that you care.
But what is love when you don’t love yourself? How do you care for others if you don’t care for yourself? Can you make someone smile if you forgot how to smile?
