6 Months and Growing Up
When I started The Colors Magazine I had an idea in mind what it should be like, what it will be like. Somehow things have turned out differently and I am back to what I like the most - to writing fiction, to writing about relationships, to writing about places I visited or want to visit. I have many more ideas about how to make The Magazine better and more colorful. it is just that I hardly have time to implement all my crazy or not so crazy ideas. Why I am telling this? Because today The Colors Magazine turned 6 months old. I would say it is a big achievement concidering how little time I have for the site.
Actually it is a little bit older. I got the site as a birthday present from a friend back in March. But it took time to figure out what to do and how to do it and the first post appeared here only on 11th May. It was one of the old posts from my blog which you can read here. By the way, that is the article which attracts the most number of visitors from search engines.
What I have achieved in these 6 months?
I would say a lot and yet less that I planned initially.
- 109 Posts (this one being 110th) *The most commented post of mine is this one*
- 1711 Comments
- more than 20000 unique visits
- more than 60000 hits
- around 200 subscribers (the number is constantly fluctuating though) *hint: you can subscribe by clicking here*
- one successful writing contest
- one ongoing Challenge Game *which badly need participants though*
- One City - 3 Facts travelling column
- Featured Story - section
- FREE Relationship Guide in pdf format which you can download HERE
- I have Facebook Group and we are on Twitter too *feel free to join*
I have many more plans and I am sure in the coming months you will find a lot of interesting for yourself here. Just stay with me and let me know what you like or not like and which topics you would like me to have covered in the future.
The Magazine would not be what it is now without people who supported me all the way through (they know who they are) and you, my readers. I am thankful to you for your visits, for your comments, for your feedback and appreciation. It keeps me and the Magazine going. We are 6 months old. Still a baby but growing up. Hope we will grow up together.

Congratulations on what you have achieved so far!
Its really a lot and a super tough job.
I know this because I had similar plans when I purchased the domain flashfiction.in
I intended it to become a platform for all my writer friends to share and interact. Due to lack of time, I made it my fiction blog. But I do intend to monetise it in the near future.
Dun worry though. We wont be rivals! We provide such different content that we can thrive along quite well.
I will mail you an honest feedback though which I’ve gathered attending blogcamps here. You might and might not want to pay heed to them though.
You truly are an inspiration for me to make such a thing work.
Keep going strong. I’ll be following behind closely.
