Smile! It’s Fun Weekend - 8!
After some short break caused by the 55 fiction contest I am back with Fun Weekend on The Colors Magazine!!
If you have already forgotten what it is (and I hope you have not) I remind you that the Concept of Fun Weekend on The Colors Magazine includes 1 quote, 1 joke and 1 pic. Every weekend. Usually takes less than 5 minutes for you to go through them, but if they will make you smile, you will get a little bit of positive energy before a new working week.
I am not sure this week’s Fun Weekend will be as funny as the previous ones but since tomorrow is Pablo Picasso’s birthday I decided to celebrate it by dedicating this week’s post to him. Not that I love him so much, just needed some reason for celebration.
For those of you who are in doubt who the hell the man is - you better go and check here. To give you some understanding of what kind of painter he was I have chosen this picture for you.
And now, let’s start!
I’d like to live like a poor man with lots of money. ~Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso spotted a burglar walking out of his studio with one of his masterpieces under his arm. Rather than challenge the tough-looking thief, Picasso took a good look at him and later reported the theft to the police. The official requested the famed artist to draw the suspect’s sketch. Picasso did. On the basis of the sketch—the story goes—the police arrested a mother superior, the minister for finance, a washing machine and the Eiffel Tower.
Enjoy your weekend and have a great start of a new week! And why don’t you take part in Challenge Game?
PS: You have a funny pic, joke or quote?? Share it with the world - submit it to The Colors Magazine using our submission form or by mailing me at info@thecolorsmagazine.com with subject line “fun weekend” and if it fits into the format of Fun Weekend series here I promise to publish it along with your name.
