Readers’ Choice Voting

I hope everyone had fun reading all the entries and commenting. Like I said before after few days of commenting I will conduct the poll to finally choose the best short story according to the readers. 6 entries made it to the voting stage. I know initially I said there will be 5 only and that not only comments will count but also stars ratings but when frankly speaking, it does not make much difference if we choose from 5 or 6 entries (only tougher for you). So I took both the short stories which collected the same number commentsinto the poll.

Now about the rules. I made sure everyone can comment once only. There are always ways to fool the system but I hope everyone will play a fair game here. You can choose 2 stories to vote for. Both votes count. To build some suspense the results of the voting will not be visible to you. In the end I will make the results private so that you could see I didn not mess up with anything. Everything is only your choice here. Vote for the stories you like, they all deserve it.

Note: The number in brackets is the number of the entry. Index of all entries is here. The voting goes till Friday Midnight.

RESULTS OF THE READERS’ VOTING AND JUDGES CHOICES WILL BE POSTED TODAY, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th, IN THE EVENING.

    Awesome stories that it came down to here and a couple (in my mind) of really tough choices. I do like the concept though and now that I see it done with a several I am thinking of giving it a try myself later.

    The choice is really tough, Ray. There are too many of really good quality. I would like to read your take on 55 Fiction one day :)

This competition is not about winning, but it’s about writers getting together, knowing and supporting each other, and building virtual friendships around this writing community. This is ultimately the goal of our great host Lena. I’ve met a lot of potential and good writers here, it’s very enjoyable.
