It Is Raining Here

rain It Is Raining Here
It is raining here. I love rains, but they make me think. So I am sitting here. Wondering. Thinking. About what has been. About what will be. Not about what is. I can’t change the past. I can’t control the future. Not now. I can change the present. Today. Or Tomorrow. Or even the day after. I am not sure I want to. I am rather sure I don’t want it. Maybe I should.

It is raining here. You can get outside. Get yourself totally soaked and dance in the rain. You can be happy for a moment, for an hour, for a day. Then you get back to reality. Reality makes you think. Reality makes you choose. And for every choice there is a price. I don’t want to pay the price now. I am not ready. How can you be ready to make decisions when you don’t know the outcome? How can you hope, strive, expect, wonder, smile when you might be wrong, when you might lose, when you might be left with nothing.

It is raining here. I love rains, don’t you? They make you happy, they give powers, but they also make you go all nostalgic. And they make you think. Oh, I said it already. Yes, they make you think. About the past. About the future. About decisions. You got to make them one day. And you are left with nothing but the hope. The hope that you did everything right. It’s not until months later, looking back, that you realize how much better you could have done. It is only then you realize that you had to take another decision but now… Now it is raining. And I am thinking. Aren’t you?

Tomorrow there will be a new day. And yes, I will live it fully, completely, happy. I might be a little bruised, a bit broken. I do have my own scars. They do not heal. They do ache. They hurt every day. They make me strong. But…

It is raining here. The rain washes the pain away. It makes the wounds clean. It makes me wake up again. Every morning. I might be confused and lost but I am here. I am fighting. I am living. I am learning to be happy.

Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.

Here comes the Rain again..drenched in my soul color…

Rain reminds me of as many sweet memories of childhood and romantic moments of young life:)

It always makes me feel facinated and inclined towards the nature and it’s beautiful gifts! Each raindrop of the rain is connected with some emotion close to heart and with the rambling sound of rain on the tin-shed, touch the heart-Chord everytime!

ThankYou so much Lena, for making me feel so nostalgic through your so Raining Post!

    Love You!

Rains… i have no special memories attached with rains. Still they make me remind of home and make me nostalgic for sure. They come with a lovely feeling but take away the love and feel u drained, not drenched with it… what is left is just water.

Rains are most beautiful when u have someone to enjoy with… and i have…
    u know it… dont u! :)

    Cheers!

We should all start the ‘we love rains’ club!

And the fascinating thing is almost everyone has one story or moment to cherish about rains. There sure is something magical about it.

Lena, beautiful autumn photo and great post!!! I have always loved your sensitive nature to human emotions. You are a healer.

I walked/jogged in the autumn rain a couple of days ago and found it refreshing. It wasn’t a hard rain, but enough to dampen the earth and leaves so I could experience being one with nature with each breath.

    Hugs, JJ

I love autumn rains but these years we don’t get many.. neither do we get any snow in December any more. The climate is not what it used to be..

That is such a nice photo and beautiful words to go along with it.

I didn’t used to enjoy the rain when I was a kid, but now I do like it as I have found it to be very romantic. What better way to stay indoors and cuddle up to a loved one.

And yes, it makes one think doesn’t it. It is amazing how it can wash away everything and signal for us a new beginning.

Nowadays I do not resist the rain….
