Contest Entry #22: He Changed

It was senior year when he had hair and smiled full and wide. We walked down the hallway to the bus and laughed together about school.
The next day a car swerved and hit a crowd, he was hit and fell.
The last day of school he smiled again, a zigzag scar of a grin.

Well on the bright side he can always use the line “You wanna know how I got these scars?” as a pickup line.

    PS: Joker rules!

I liked the way it ended. Gave the whole story a positive tinge. Dark humour type.

It is amazing how strong some people are, facing with smile whatever comes their way!
