Contest Entry #32: Colored Conceptions

He was excited. She was nervous. Emptying the milk glass, he pounced on her.
In no time, he climaxed.
Minutes later, he dragged her by the hair, uttering profanities all the while.
The red of the vermilion in her hair parting wasn’t good enough. He’d wanted the sheets to go red.
The marriage was annulled.

    umm….kinda extreme!!

As in it is very visual and all but the story seems a bit far fetched…

Ya fine the guy climaxed prematurely and stuff…..but the annulment of the marriage was too much!!..

Domestic violence is not unheard of but annulment for THIS reason……though visually excellent…..is unable to go through my throat!!

But this is just my view…… the words were short and simple…you know how to write but this plot was not very good!!

BEST OF LUCK for the competition!!

I absolutely and totally loved it. Sheets going red was an amazing visual. I know of places where they hang the red on the sheets outside to proclaim the virginity of the bride.

    Brilliantly put!

Such a hard hitting write.. Brilliant öne buddy.. Know what it has more depth than what it represents.. It opens up a whole new perspective on some social issues.. I just loved the red colored part.. Wonderfully penned.

Its really a sad state of affair that its still true in some parts of the world. The dark imagery was evident throughout. Well done.

Ok , I didnt know anything about 55 until this competion. Your story is fantastic- definately deserved to win. I disagree strongly with the first person - the one who left a negative comment. There is nothing far-fetched about this story. Some men do treat women like that- he thought he could abuse her any way he wanted because she was his wife and to him because she didnt bleed it meant that she wasn’t a virgin.
    This is excellent writing!

    I am reading this now… :(
    I simply loved it…
The significance of virginity in today’s world..(when it has been scientifically proven that hymen is no proof of a woman’s virginity..)
    has been so beautifully shown…

    wonderfully presented …
