While you are writing your entries to the contest (JUST 2 DAYS LEFT - hurry up!!) I have come up with my own. Before posting it, a small note on the contest. Deadline - October 1st, you all know. On October 2nd I will post an update about the contest, the procedure and the announcement of results. Stay tuned. Do subscribe if you still have not.
The Acceptance
Alice blinked away a deceitful tear and closed her laptop.
An e-mail. Just an e-mail.
She curled up in her bed.
Breathe in. Breathe out. In. Out. In. Out.
It can’t be true, she thought.
But it was. She opened the laptop. Read again.
“…liked your manuscript… ready to discuss…”
It was real. She smiled.

The kind of email that all writers long for and relate too. I love the upbeat tone of this entry. Well done!

Well, this 55 fiction contains exactly 55 words.
The best line of the story is ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out. In Out. In Out.’ Where actually I could feel the breathe being taken in and out.
