I want my life to be bright and yellow

24 May 2009 14 Comments

bright nature 150x150 I want my life to be bright and yellowI want to see the flush of the dawn,
To bathe in the calm of an early sunray.
I want to behold the morning star yawn,
Smiling at me and then oozing away.

I want to feel the touch of the breeze,
Gentle and peaceful, almost ethereal.
I want to enjoy the shadow of trees,
The freshness of air, silence, serenity.

I want to hear the murmur of leaves,
Their soothing whisper and a healing rustle,
I just want today to wake up and believe
Life has nothing to do with delusive hustle.

I want to have hopes and believe in dreams,
I want the things to be as they seem.
I want to enjoy the sun and the rainbow,
I want my life to be bright and yellow.

And thank you for your beautiful post for me :) I was so touched!!

    @ Akanksha:
I feel good when people like what I write :D Though who does not? The world would surely be a better place if things were as i pictured them. But we get what we get, so I am learning to be content with it :)
